A spoken word and storytelling production by Justin Samgar de Verteller about leaving a closed religious community. Sarod and handpan were composed for the show and played live throughout the tour, shaping the atmosphere around each story.

A dance production by Shailesh Bahoran exploring creolisation and the origins of Surinamese culture. Sarod and recorded sound elements were made for the work and built into the score by composer Rik Ronner.

A multidisciplinary series inspired by the character and emotional language of Indian ragas. Bhairavi, Malkauns and Darbari are reinterpreted through sarod compositions, poetry, digital imagery and atmospheric production.

A touring theatre production exploring non-duality through movement and live music. Sarod and voice responded directly to the performers, creating a different musical dialogue during every performance.

Role: Live sarod and collaborative performance — Avi Kishna with Jimmy Rage (Dr Femi Dawkins) and Budha Building (Hans Timmermans)
A five-track collaboration bringing Jimmy Rage’s spoken word together with Budha Building’s live digital music and Avi Kishna’s live sarod. Recorded entirely live, the project unfolds through improvisation and the immediate dialogue between voice, electronics and acoustic sound.
